Goals Round 2

Tomorrow will make it two weeks since I last met with my support person. The one thing she asked me to do before we met again was to redefine my goals for our time working together. I have thought about it more than once since then but here I am, twelve hours before my appointment and I have not put anything solid down in writing. So now I am going to sit here and stare at my screen until I settle on some concrete points.

  1. Learn to control my compulsive eating
  2. Learn to not be afraid to feel happiness
  3. Learn to prioritize myself a little bit
  4. Learn to find peace
  5. To understand what sets me off and why
  6. To feel comfortable in social settings.
  7. To not be so self critical
  8. Learn to take a compliment.
  9. To not hate myself
  10. To learn who I am

I am going to look over these in the morning but I think I am going to go with these for now. It’s late, and I am tired. To whomever may read this, you are loved, by God, by those around you, and if you are lucky, by your self.
